Introduction to High Performance Liquid Chromatography
May 10, 2010 - May 12, 2010
West Chester University
Course Application
Course Description
A practical problem solving introduction to HPLC, students will learn HPLC fundamentals, nomenclature, separation modes (normal/ reversed-phase) and solvent/column selection. In laboratory sessions students will operate commercial equipment, solve typical HPLC problems, and learn time-saving techniques. By completion of the course, students with no previous experience in HPLC should have a working knowledge of liquid chromatography. Experienced chromatographers will benefit from discussions on new trends in optimization, quantitative analysis, and instrumentation.
