Peilin Yang

Dr. Peilin Yang is currently a Research Scientist at the Dow Chemical company. Peilin joined Dow in 2007 in Midland, Michigan and relocated to Dow’s Collegeville, Pennsylvania site in 2014. Peilin has broad experience in separation science including LC, GC, CE, hyphenated techniques and multi-dimensional separations. Peilin is very passionate about developing and applying state-of-the-art analytical technologies to solve industrial problems. At Dow Peilin has supported a broad range of businesses in analytical method development, new product development, registration and manufacturing. Peilin currently leads the global GC technology network and global 2D-LC discussion group at Dow. She also serves on the executive committee for the Chromatography Forum of Delaware
Valley (CFDV). She has published 14 peer-reviewed journal articles and has given many conference presentations, tutorials and workshops. Peilin earned her B.S. in Chemistry from Peking University, China in 2002 and a Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from the University of Michigan in 2007 with Professor Robert T. Kennedy.
